2 months ago The ability to block users is on our roadmap but not currently implemented. In the ideal implementation users should have control of what kind of experience they want to have. I will update here when the functionality is implemented.

In this draft users can be blocked, unblocked, a list of blocked users viewed, and blocked users are filtered from the explore feed. It has been auto deployed on staging at stg.polycentric.io blocked users are not currently filtered in all contexts such as replies or search.

1 month ago Hello, it's been a little bit because I got saddled with a lot of work in the past few weeks.
This is a great start, so far! I do hope that this extends to replies or search. The only concern I have is the ability to see the list of people that other users have blocked, as I feel that it is too easy to see this. Ideally, this list should just be in a user's own settings page.
As well, these options don't appear to be visible in the web app on Android, but at least the feature still works, so there is that.
Last thing is that these blocks should be reflected on Grayjay, if possible. I still see the people I've blocked under videos there.

Do a lot of that? Like, I understand the whole freedom of speech deal, but I feel that just allowing this isn't that great of a look.
