1254752 – Remove deprecated functions from nsIIoservice

this will probably be the end of the addon ... sadly ..

id like to take the ui and rebuild it based on WebRequest.jsm and some simple pagescript which adds nothing but content security policy metatags for inline script and style.

but im not good enough yet imho .. or with very much time ...ohh man the best addon gone :(

heforfree commented 8 years ago

lets hope that not happen.i am sad to i disable since not working very well. however are you tried 0.19pre4. futpib sometime ago released it

@Ulf3000 RequestPolicy also needed some code changes due to that Mozilla Bug. If you take a look at this commit, maybe it helps you fix policeman. It shouldn't be hard to fix. Obviously this should be the corresponding code in policeman. ;)

lol what a moron i am ... i used the 18.11 version till now didn´t know theres a release site too ... maybe the release site should be added to the description on amo as direct link, other people on amo think its dead. also it always had hard to find name , otherwise it would have had much more users, at least something like policeman request filter or like that , people will find it much easier imho.

ok i thought .. "PoliceMan Request Security" would probably give the best results over google search and would also attract most users who search for security addons. give it a thought
