wordpress quirk: is_front_page not always *really* front-page #56

on my little blog (which does not have a static frontpage) is_front_page returns true for the actual homepage, but also for /page/1, /page/2, ...

this is due to a quirk in wordpress core, see https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/6848
