[ ] request two for the manager: keep filter settings the same when jumping back from editing to looking at the list
[x] don't jump to "false" after metadata have been edited - re-approving is tedioud
[ ] if the filter would not scroll away with the top of the list, that would be fabulous...

IIUC, this means to only scroll the list of entries itself; and to keep both the category toggle buttons and shown category list names in the fixed frame of the page.
