My spotify was originally set up through facebook, The user ID which I thought was the one shown in the spotify app was not correct, through facebook settings I was able to locate a different user ID, and set a password for the app. This allows my authentication into the spotify program which I have installed on my pc, although this does not grant me authentication into the web. I'm curious in the authentication method being used. Most likely its because it's a facebook spotify I am assuming although possibly not.
Also, I notice with previous versions when I install I am able to authenticate although I continue receiving "trying to open spotify session" i believe the error code said. Thanks for any updates!
