No notification, vibration, or LED for incoming messages #334

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Receiving a new message does not give a notification, vibration, or LED.
2.Upon receiving a second new message, it gives a notification, vibrates, and 
blinks the LED.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Upon receiving a new message, there is no notification, vibration, or LED. If a 
second message is received after this, it works as intended. This happens for 
both default notifications and individual contact notifications.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I have SMS Popup 1.2.3 on my Motorola Droid running Android 2.2.3.

Please provide any additional information below.
This seems to have started happening after one of the most recent updates. 
Previous versions of SMS Popup have worked fine.

Does this reliably happen every time? or only sometimes?

It seems to be happening every time, with only one exception where it worked 
correctly.

does the popup show? or no popup and no notifications?

Can you try this version and when the popup/notifications do NOT trigger 
capture your system logs and send it to me? I think you can use an app like 
this to capture logs if you don't know how to use the developer tools:

NOTE: you will need to remove the current version of SMS Popup before 
installing this version.

Actually I think I found and fixed the bug already. here's a fixed version, if 
you can test and make sure it's working that would be great.
