"Close" does not mark message read #371

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. In "Additional Settings" check the "Mark Read" option.
2. Get a text message.
3. Click the Close button.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see the notification disappear and the SMS app (built in) to no
longer show an unread message.

The notification disappears but the message still shows as unread in the SMS
app.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.2.4 on Android 4.0.4, Galaxy S3

Using SMS Popup 1.2.4 on Android 4.0.4 (Razr Maxx), not only does the message
not get marked as read in the SMS app, but the notification isn't consistently
removed.

Can confirm this only partially.
Android 4.0.4, SMS Popup 1.2.4 on Lenovo P700i, S107.
Message IS marked as read, but icon in status bar exist until I open default
SMS app, no need open exact SMS message, just open app.
