Multiple text messages reported in the notification bar. #394

I love your app, but I don't use the pop-up feature, just the feature to assign 
individual notification tones and lights. I have one question though... Why 
does the notification bar show that I have received two text messages when I 
have only received one? I have all the notification settings for the native 
text app turned off and I will get the notification scrolling through the bar 
when a message is received, but then it will change to show 2 texts. I have a 
Nexus 4 with JB 4.2.1 and 1.2.4 version of the SMS Popup app.

I know this is an old post, but in case you never got a fix. I ran into the 
same issue with mine recently. The fix for me was to turn on the pop-up 
feature, send myself a message, delete the message in the pop-up, and then the 
"phantom" message appeared as a pop-up and was able to be deleted. After that 
it showed properly again. It seems like an old message somehow gets stuck.
