Pop-up on lock screen fails on Samsung Galaxy S4 #412

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install SMS Popup on a Samsung Galaxy S4
2. Set a screen lock (pattern, pin, password, etc.)
3. Set SMS Popup to display incoming messages in a dialog box upon arrival.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

  On my previous Moto Droid, Moto Droid 2 and Droid 3 phones, SMS Popup successfully displays the incoming message to the lock screen and I can click 'close' to mark it read without any additional steps.  On the Galaxy S4, I have to draw my pattern to log in before the SMS Popup dialog box is visible.  

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

SMS Popup 1.2.4 on Android 4.2.2

Ended up switching to Handcent; all the options are a bit overwhelming but it 
does all that sms popup does plus a lot more and it is able to successfully pop 
up on the lock screen.
