this can be used for tracking time changes, track changes, etc...

idea on solution:

empty column called ID in spreadsheet
when a session is encountered for the first time we write a random, short, unique ID to it, then read it into redis
we can then continue w/ dumb overrides of data in redis on future syncs
[later] front end can track changes to sessions on each sync w/ server

Sheets must now contain a "sid" column (short for Short ID). This any blank cells encountered in this column, with data elsewhere in the row, will be autofilled with a unique ID using shortid.

This check is done each time the server polls the sheet.
