Vertical line routing overshoot seems to be related to horizontal distance #17

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

Place two modules horizontally really far apart, but at the same height.
Now connect them. Move them closer to each other, and notice how the
vertical overshoot is drastically affected.

Analyze the problem and try to fix.

As Peter Krekel noticed, this is simply due to the fact that I have the same
number
of spline control points, no matter how far apart the modules are placed. I'll
think
up a solution.

I've been experimenting with Kochanek splines, they're ugly compared to the
cardinals
we're using now. The cardinals are actually quite pretty, I'm going to leave
them as
they are for now.
