Unknown Error #584

Hi Guys, trying to add new cameras to HA and continually get an 'unknown error' when adding the camera. I have followed all the required steps as far as I know. Anyone else having this issue or have a fix? I have tried re-installing the HACS plugin. IP address, username and password are all correct.

I have the same issue. I have one working E1 Zoom, however get unknown error when trying to add a new Argus 2E. Like you all details are correct. I will try to simplify the password complexity and try again. I notice it looks like it might work, but then fails. I read somewhere there is no support for battery cameras. The Argus is battery, with solar, so can handle full time use. I will report back.

No luck, same issue. I have a full length pwd, I thought this may have caused an issue with overflow. I still receive unknown error. What model are you trying to add? Maybe they are not supported?

I'm trying to add 2 Argus Eco cameras which are battery powered which I believe is the issue. Although not sure why and they are solar powered.

Battery cameras are also not supported via web browser by the manufacturer. I feel this is prudent.

My battery cameras both work on the manufacturers Web page and the plugin for Windows so this is not correct.

Ah, wonderful. I have only tried web on Linux, but that shouldn't matter. This gives hope. I am not sure what to try next. I saw some related login errors in the logs, but haven't had time to investigate more.

hey guys , im having the same issue adding my new Duo poe , I've tried everything , and I still get the same error . even the ip discovery integrations finds my E1 pro and asks me to configure it, once I click on it , it shows the error ..

soo annoying and frustrating , the cameras are the only things missing in my dashboards.

has anybody managed to fix this ?

find attached photos of the error message and also the network/ports config for the duo camera

I switched to this integration, and all my errors went away, maybe it will work for you :) https://github.com/JimStar/reolink_cctv

This is giving me the same error as the last one.

Ah sorry, that new integration fixed many issues for me so I thought it would help as well. It’s actively supported and the dev listens to users maybe if you post a request there he can fix it. I assume the issue is cause it’s suppose to add 2 cameras and it’s having trouble with that
