Link eq preset to a device #167

I believe a valuable feature would be to have a preset equalizer tailored for each audio device. Typically, I use a specific equalizer setting for my headphones and a different one for my soundbar. Each time I switch devices, I must also adjust the equalizer. The ability to assign a preferred equalizer setting to each device would be a fantastic enhancement.

Hi Francesco, This feature has been requested many times before, see: https://github.com/fxsound2/fxsound-app/issues/9 We've recently decided to move in a different direction, with the implementation of a Preferred Output Device feature from v1.1.26.0 onward: https://forum.fxsound.com/t/preferred-output-device/3412

Preferred Output Device is a different feature from this one. From what I understand, you are currently not interested in implementing the preset-device pairing.

That's a bit of a word-twist. We were actually very interested in the idea. However, after having discussed both options, a decision needed to be made about which one to pursue, and the Preferred Output Device feature was chosen.

You make it sound like one excludes the other, but those are two separate features. I'm puzzled why only one of them can be pursued.
