What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Try to connect via SSH without a password
2. Set up the connection and SSH key
3. Click on the connection

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I get the error message:
Trying to authenticate [Your host doesn't support 'password' or
'keyboard-interactive'authentication.]

What version of the product are you using (you can see this by using Menu
-> 1.7.1

What type of system are you trying to connect to? dd-wrt OpenSSH

If you are able to connect, what is the output of "echo $TERM", "uname -a",
and any other relevant information on the host? No connection

Please provide any additional information below.

I'm experiencing this problem with ConnectBot 1.7.1 on Galaxy i9000 on two SSH
conections. There is no password and the sole SSH public key is on the
authorised keys list of the SSH servers.

Only ConnectBot has a problem connecting - other machines connect without
problems. The port is obfuscated ie not 22 and the servers are running a recent
version of dd-wrt.

I think I just solved it. Go into "Manage Public Keys" and make sure the lock
icon is the green "unlocked" one. I just toggled that and now I can connect
just fine.
