What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open any indic keyboard say Kannada KaGaPa.
2. Press shift key.
3. Press "123" to switch to symbols keyboard. You will see that shift key is
still on.
4. Press any key in symbols keyboard. You will get shifted keys. You will see
that shift key is still on - 'sticky'. Press any number of keys. You will get
shifted keys.
5. Switch back to main keyboard (characters). You will see that shift key is
still on.
6. Press any key. You will see that you get non-shifted characters in spite of
shift key being shown as on.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It is better if we reset the shift key status to initial 'off' state when
switching from one keyboard to another.
