to replicate:

  1. shorten the viewed assignment list (i did list 1)

  2. attempt to edit an assignment with an index greater than the displayed one, but smaller than the overall list

for instance, i have 9 assignments total: Screenshot 2020-11-13 at 4.35.56 PM.png

but when i shorten the visible list, i can't edit something at index 2: Screenshot 2020-11-13 at 4.34.06 PM.png

pages 17-19 of the user guide describe this feature, but at no point does it indicate which list is being referenced.

Team's Response

The error message is working as intended, as index is greater than size of list.

We included diagrams in the UG which indicates where the location of indexes are in a step by step example to follow, which indicates to you that the displayed assignment list is involved. Moreover, it is intuitive for users to use indexes in the displayed assignment list.
