Improve documentation #20

It is a nice to have to provide a wiki with academic definitions (as described in #10) and provide some examples of usage (with code and expected results)

I'm open to better documentation. I'm not sure if this rather small project requires a whole wiki. As a first step I would prefer improvements to the README.
