Custom Options Not Saving / General Saving Issue #173

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

I've noticed a new issue with the most recent build of Minimalist Everything.
The problem is with saving custom options and saving custom modules.

To start, I deleted the Google Reader module as I don't use Google Reader and I
find it rather pointless to have it in Minimalist Options. However, it
continuously returns every time I launch Google Chrome.

Secondly, I've created custom options in Minimalist Everything only to find
they aren't saving. This only started after the update from January 11th.

I've been able to recreate this issue every time I launch Google Chrome. I've
also removed the extension and reinstalled it and I still have the problem.

Thanks.

1) Deleted core modules should not reappear when restarting Chrome. However
they will appear on every update. I updated last night and this morning. Does
that line up with what you're seeing?

2) Are your custom options in the core modules or in new modules? Core module
data is overwritten on each update. All user options should be created in a
different module.

3) Databases persist through reinstalls. Use the new "Nuke Settings" button in
Data to erase it.
