Mixing highlight colors #187

Please describe the feature or enhancement in as much detail as possible:

As you can see in the screenshot, the highlight for starred items only shows if 
the item is read and unchecked, while the unread highlight only shows for items 
that are unchecked. I don't know what version it was, but I remember when the 
various colors would be mixed, i.e. yellow/starred and red/checked could make 
orange. Now, checked status overrides unread which overrides starred.

Windows 7 Pro SP 1
Google Chrome Version 16.0.912.77 m
Minimalist Version 0.5.20
Dashboard for Gmail Version 2.0.9

This is a usability choice on my part. Blending colors is pretty but not 
informative. In order of priority:

  1. Checked - Temporary selection of messages. Should always be colored
  2. Starred - Manual marking of important messages. More important than automatic states
  3. Read/Unread - Automatic, least informative states.
