Sorry, I don't understand what you mean by this...

I mean allowing to move the sent e-mails on gmail to other labels, not having
to use outlook/imap to do this.

You can already do this. Go to sent mail, check the selection boxes in one or
more rows, click the label icon, choose label(s).

No you can't that's marking as a label not moving from the sent items.

I don't you think understand how Gmail works. There is only ever one copy of
any message, you just put different labels on it. "Sent", "Trash", "Spam",
"Inbox" are just default labels. When you send a new message, the only label it
has is "Sent".

No, it's me that thinks that you didn't even know how gmail works. That's what
i just explained to you, how gmails works, so thanks a lot for repeating my
words, that's why i'm requesting a new feature. If it had that feature it
wouldn't be this wouldn't be request for a new feature would it?

Besides you can move items from the inbox and that's not a label.

Inbox is a label.

If it's a label Sent items label does not allow for users to move sent e-mails
from there to other labels, that's the issue here.
Original comment by btt3r...@gmail.com

Yes it does.
1. Go to sent mail
2. Click on any message
3. Change the labels from the toolbar
That is how you "move" a sent message to another label.
It works exactly the same as anywhere else in Gmail. I don't know how you are
changing labels at all if you're not doing this.

you are starting to repeat yourself. if you don't know how to fix this don't
start repeating the same. i don't want to "move" i really want to MOVE. There
are many people requesting this feature online and if you don't know or are not
able to fix this don't waist my time,.

besides my lables work fine, that's an arrogance for assuming that cause you're
the one here that don't know how to fix what i requested. the only label not
working for me is that i know how to work with gmail but you don't seem to know
how to do that.

i'm going to start posting this link on forums and sites do people can see how
you react on a feature request that you never thought about. waisting there
time and bashing them with arrogance and with no reason because of your own
ignorance. and going to send/report this to google as well.

Let me be perfectly clear:
1. I have worked directly with members of the Gmail team. I have spent hundreds of hours in the source code making my extensions. I know Gmail VERY well. I'm guessing you are used to a different email system (Outlook maybe?) and are making assumptions about Gmail.
2. You fundamentally cannot MOVE items in Gmail. It is not possible. Unlike other email providers, in Gmail there is only one copy of every message and you make it appear in different contexts by applying labels to it.
3. The reason this is the case is because Gmail uses threaded messaging and a non-redundant data structure which allows you to label one thread multiple times without duplicating that thread.
PLEASE post this for others to see. Remember this: You are not paying for this,
I volunteer hundreds of hours to create tools to help people. Most of my
features are suggested by other people, I'm happy to implement good ideas. This
is not even a valid feature request because it is already possible. You are
verbally abusing a volunteer because you are unwilling to try and understand
the fundemental differences between Gmail and other email providers. Read both
sides of the conversation again and I think you'll find that I was trying to
help you understand and you were the one being ignorant and arrogant.

i don't give a fuck for what you are saying cause u are repeating the same
thing over and over agin and i will report this to google cause you are
harassing insulting saying and assuming things that aren't true- as an
arrogante that has no reason bashing people saying that they use outlook when
you can't fix the problem with ignorance. and making my e-mail full with non
useful messages. besides if the messages are able to be moved from the inbox,
and i doubt that's a label, it should be possible to move them from the sent
items as well. i hope i can find someone more useful to fix this, by the way I
WOULD NEVER PAY ANYTHING TO SOMEONE AGRRESSIVE AND ARROGANT WITH A SIMPLE
SUGGESTION AND IF YOU WANT ANYONE TO PAY YOU WITH THAT KIND OF TREATMENT YOU
SHOULD START TO SAY THAT TO PEOPLE CAUSE FROM ME YOU ARE NOT GOING TO RECEIVE
ANYTHING. EXTENSIONS ARE NOT PAID AND I WOULD ONLY SUPPORT SOMEONE POLITE
EDUCATED AND USEFUL. IF YOU TREAT PEOPLE LIKE THAT JUST CAUSE THEY DON'T PAY
YIU AND YOU DON'T WORK TO IMPROVE AND DON'T GIVE A SHIT YOU SHOULD NOT BE ABLE
TO BELONG OR HAVE PUBLIC EXTENSIONS PEOPLE DON'T HAVE TO RECIEVE THIS KIND OF
AGRESSIVITY.

BESIDES YOU'RE LYING THE FEATURE I REQUESTED DOES NOT EXIST AND YOU'RE
INSULTING ALL THE PEOPLE THAT DEMAND THIS FEATURE. SO GO TELL THOSE PEOPLE THAT
THAT FEATURE REQUEST IS NOT VALID BESIDES I DIDN'T CALL YOU ARROGANT OR
IGNORANT I SAID THIS QUESTION WAS TREATED WITH ARROGANCE AND IGNORANCE AND IT
IS THAT'S THE DIFFERENCE ON BASHING SOMEONE AND IF YOU DON'T KNOW THAT A CRIME
IN MY COUNTRY AT LEAST AND IF YOU USE THIS SITE TO FULL AND HARASS PEOPLE'S
E-MAIL WITH THIS ISSUES AFTER THEY ASKED YOU NOT TO YOU ARE NOT WORTH OF HAVING
ANYTHING OUBLIC OR PROFESSIONAL ONLINE.

As I have told you twice in this thread, Inbox is a label. (I wouldn't have to
keep repeating myself if you were listening.)
If you don't like my extension, stop using it and stop wasting my time. I'm not
treating your poorly, I'm trying to help you. What I was pointing out with my
last comment is that I don't even owe you that. I respect my users and most of
the time they respect me. Don't think for a second though that I have any
obligation to implement features for you.
Ask anyone else to read this thread. I have been calm and tried to explain what
is going on. You are the aggressive one... (The fact that you typed the last
message in all caps should be proof enough).

SURE YOU ARE THAT'S WHY YOU CONTINUE TO ANSWER MY QUESTIONS REPEATING YOURSELF
THAT'S BEING AGREESIVE. CALLING SOMEONE NAMES IT'S BEING AGRESSIVE SAYING AND
ASSUMING PEOPLE DON'T KNOW HOW TO WORK WITH FEATURES WHEN THEY DO IT'S BEING
AGRESSIVE NOT ANSWERING DIRECTLY IT'S BEING AGREESIVE LYING IT'S BEING AGRESIVE
SAYING THAT A FEATURE DOESN'T DESERVES YOUR TIME CAUSE YOU'RE NOT PAID IT'S
BEING AGRESSIVE ADN ABUSIVE TO THE USERS OF THE EXTENSIONS PUTING WORDS IN MY
MOUTH THAT I DIDN'T SAID IT'S BEING AGRESSIVE NOT RESPECTING PEOPLE It'S BEING
AGREESIVE. YOU'RE NOT WORTH OF BEING IN PUBLIC GALLERIES CAUSE YOU DO NOT REACT
LIKE A PROFESSIONAL. HELIPING? TRY HARASSING SINCE MY E-MAIL IS FULL WITH NON
USEFUL MESSAGES AND REPEATED.
