Control of Receive Preamp via PiHPSDR with Red Pitaya, set up for ALEX mode #184

Is there any way of using the MMI to turn on and off a Receive Pre-amp? Setup is Pi4 with Red-Pitaya set in ALEX mode which shows the 4 Attenuator modes, which works fine, but the Pre-amp enable is not visible on that page. I have set mode to NONE, Apollo, Charly25 and N2ADR, no preamp mode is shown. I understand that in the conventional ALEX hardware ( and the others) the preamp hardware might not exist therefore the mode does not either, but The Pitaya is a DIY setup and it can control a preamp if commanded by the Pi interface. Is there any way of doing this. Else I will just add a front panel switch, as in a normal radio...

Using the ATT slider, set to 0db, enables the preamp - so all OK - Just not obvious where to find out that this is how it works.
