The getting started page for using the commandline in the wiki is great, but it
doesn't indicate that you have to actually install GStreamer first. While this
may seem obvious to people who are already using GStreamer, to anyone new to
api they won't realize this. In addition, it's not entirely clear where you
should install GStreamer from. On Mac, for example, there appear to be several
distributions, some of which you embed in your app and others which are system
wide. For Java devs who just want to build an app this can be confusing.
