I just saw this post by an AS member in the Facebook group.

Facebook post on December 16, 2013 by Chad W

Newb here, thanks for the help so far. I cannot remember, nor do I see on the AS dashboard site how to test me new AS page in wordpress. What is the process?

Basically, do I need to fill out a new request form each time or is there a workaround?

I think this is something the plugin should be able to help with, however I'm not sure what that means as an end result. I have commented on that post asking the community how they would like to interact with the plugin to be sure the plugin works consistently the way they want for them and their clients.

I'm really hoping for some good input and discussion.

I was thinking about this more and have one idea.

When you are either previewing a new page, or logged in and on an E-Promo-Kit page, we could add a button to the admin bar (that black bar along the top of the website when you are logged in).

The button, when clicked, could show a screen with all the merge fields in use on the page. Your could change values there and be able to see the change in your E-Promo-Kit in real time. No need to mess with changing values in the URL or constantly re-submitting the form (and dealing with the Captcha).

I like the idea but I'm curious where with the data be pulled from to merge into the merge fields? Would it just merge in random words on the preview page?

It could start with common data. Especially with the default fields in 1ShoppingCart, coming up with dummy information for them isn't too bad.

I was thinking that clicking a button on the admin bar would show an overly menu with form fields that could be modified to change the merged values.

Okay that would be very nice!
