180 minutes total. Did not get to recipe lab but did laptop as a demo/code along and used the television section as their lab. Made Recipe portion an extra lab for workshop time.

WDI 17 time: ~200 minutes. We split this up in two sessions: 2:30 - 4:50, and 9:30 - 10:50 (these both started ~ 10 mins late due to breaks from previous talks, hence the ~200 minute total)

It was nice breaking it up like this across two days, as I was able to do a longer lab (~30 mins) with the television section on the first day. This gave developers a good amount of time to work on their TVs and execute their JS objects to make sure the code worked how they wanted. Then, the next morning session was devoted to the recipe lab. The repetition across days probably let the material sink in more than if it was done all in one day.
