During logon to Gen3 CRDC the option to use RAS login (default) or NIH login is shown. Used RAS login and generated new access key under that login. FASP script using CRDC DRS server accessed using that token ran successfully.
Access keys available under previous logins to CRDC via NIH login were visible and downloadable.
Seven Bridges login displays the following. Though it mentions RAS is it not clear what kind of login is performed.
Natalie Madero contacting SB team.
Note: In summary, at this stage of RAS (milestone 1) the tokens I need to manage are not reduced. It's a different way of logging on to where I need to download each of those tokens from. Still trying to understand what milestones 2 and 3 will do.
Keeping open pending seeing updated banner pages during login.
Also attaching the NIH banner page seen prior to the SB page prior to the SB banner shown above.
It's good that there is an attempt to keep a user aware of what is going on. However the language is very cryptic for many users. The pages get mechanically generated and text like 'CRDC-Production' get dropped in. This might work for some, but will be confusing for many.
Some thought about how 'plain language' principles could be applied might help.
Contacted CRDC Communications for follow up on plain language.
RAS login is now the default login for at least some subset of Gen3 and Seven Bridges nodes running WES and DRS.
Check that tokens available for RAS logins gain proper access and authentication for the expected datasets and resources.
