Developer Mode was designed to enable extension authors to develop and test their extensions at the same time. It wasn't designed to side-load extensions for long-term use. As such, suppressing this warning could be dangerous for Brave users. It is meant to warn you when unpolished and/or potentially broken code is running in your browser (which is generally the case with Developer Mode scenarios).
@jonathansampson I get that, but shouldn't the warning stop after one disable developer mode again? It would make sense to work in such a way, at least to me: warning while in dev mode, one warning after you turn dev mode off. Or at least an option displaying: "Stop notifying me about this particular plugin. I get it, I am aware of it and I am still willing to use it. Stop nagging me!" :)
Consider trying the new Dissenter browser, a fork of Brave, with Dissenter natively installed instead of Brave Rewards. It's an alpha version but check Twitter @getongab, people love it.
Same shit happens in Chrome, and because I mod others extensions a lot, I switched to Opera just so I didn't see this shit popup everytime.
Every time I open Brave I am confronted with the same warning regarding the plugin. Developer mode has been turned off. It's really annoying.
