Blur effect broken on Home Assistant Version >0.116.4 #3

OS: Windows 10 Home Assistant version: 0.116.4 (VirtualBox VM)

I was really excited to use this addon. Unfortunately, after I installed it perfectly, the blur effect doesn't happen when there's a popup. It looks like the background get's darker; however, the actual blur effect doesn't happen.

Is this addon completely broken for everyone? Is there any chance of fixing it? This addon would be irreplaceable if it worked.

@noxhirsch thanks for that improvement to native HA. I was also pleased to find a card-mod theme example in that link to get the effect in the meantime. 👍
