than other lora, think about mesh system and screen wemos have esp with screen 'lolin' + cc1101 and power.

what You think about sound modem and baofeng uv5 for hardware

Hi I agree. My goal was just to have something working almost "out of the box" with 2-3$ hardware and as simple as possible. I saw many examples, but none of them was working.
