Please add:

sections on reprex and how to make a stack overflow account (with enough rep to post questions).
how to use git (and related tools services) to help when “the code worked yesterday.”
How to roll back and diff files.
Copilot

You may want to:

show styler and lintr; they are quick and easy and will make students look conscientious when they share code.
info on Markdown before R Markdown. Enough people use reddit that the pure markdown stuff may resonate.
teach xfun::n2w() when you cover Rmd and/or quarto
teach ggconsort and forestplot (they are needed for most of the projects I work on).
teach renv; sometimes it's confusing, but in general it is excellent
