Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.cd cpyrit-opencl-0.4.0/
2.python setup.py build
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected to build, instead throws massive errors expecting OpenCL drivers.

Errors:
http://pastebin.com/j7dxEj75

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Debian x64, Radeon HD4870 X2.

Please provide any additional information below.
I've downloaded and installed AMD APP v2.5 and rebooted before doing this
because apparently that contained what it was looking for but it changed
absolutely nothing, still get the mass errors.

Thank you for your reply, I've read through the whole error report and have
only posted after a whole day of trying every fix I've come across, the two
lines you've mentioned are the main ones I've taken into account.

My query is what can I do about these? I've followed every instruction
possible, installed pyrit 0.4.0 and AMD APP v2.5, restarted then attempted to
build the setup.py in cpyrit folder but it constantly gives me this error.

Am I wrong in thinking that AMD APP provides what I'm looking for?

Also, upon trying to retrace my steps, a re-install of AMD APP gives a small
error in the output of the install:
ldconfig: Can't stat /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu: No such file or directory

Could this causing the problem?

I'm not asking to be spoon fed, however I've exhausted all other resources, I
generally don't ask questions until I'm desperate.

Thanks again for your reply, and thanks for reading.

The best suggestion I can give you is to have a look to all previoust tickets
(overall the closed one) because so often they will talk of common problem that
more or less all of us had in past. Also kave a look to Installation Page of
Pyrit. I can't reply punctually to your question because where I am now I have
not with me my documentation related to pyrit.
