There is a setting on the General GoodNews Settings tab:
Automatically convert URLs to absolute URLs Wether or not URLs in email body are automatically converted to absolute URLs if necessary.
It also convert mailto: links. They should not be touched by this setting, otherwise we have things like this in out emails:
https://example.com/mailto:info@example.com
P.S. I believe there is also an "h" missing in the setting description.
