Continuing Don's session, you can do this today to some degree via a script resource that generates a new mof and places it as pending.mof. Though its not the same extensibility and does requires understanding the underlying technology, it is still doable. As Don said "its not necessarily smart tricks,Look at the title of the session" :)

Do what? Extending the LCM? Although it might be possible in some ways, I'm afraid they'd be unnecessarily complex, and not supported.
