There seems to be no easy solution to get healpy running on Windows. The healpy documentation has suggestions with a “Windows Subsystem for Linux”: https://healpy.readthedocs.io/en/latest/install.html
One possible way to work around this is to use a Google colab notebook: https://colab.google/

Hello,
During execution of the following command in my jupyter notebook: pip install gaiaunlimited I get the following error:
ERROR: Failed building wheel for healpy ERROR: Could not build wheels for healpy, which is required to install pyproject.toml-based projects
with the following warning:
C:\Users\TISYAGUPTA PYNE\AppData\Local\Temp\pip-build-env-ltvklx40\overlay\Lib\site-packages\setuptools\command\build_py.py:207: _Warning: Package 'healpy.utils' is absent from the
packagesconfiguration.I will be grateful if you could look into this and resolve the issue. Also my PC runs on windows 11 (hopefully that's not a problem). Please let me know if you need any other details.
