RAR files don't show any icon #726

This is a bug in The Archive Browser, I'm not sure if this affects The
Unarchiver as well.

After updating The Archive Browser to 1.9.1, all my RAR files don't show an
icon in Finder. I tried to deselect the RAR file type on the preferences window
and select it again and using the Get Info on a file to change the "open with"
application, but the issue remains.

Using OS X 10.8.5

What I mean is, the RAR files show a blank icon. It didn't happen before and
it's only with this specific file type.

This is probably a Launch Services bug, possibly triggered because you have
some other program installed which claims some similar file type and there's a
conflict. There's not much that can be done about this other than having Apple
fix the terrible buggy Launch Services.

Is it possible to communicate this to Apple?
Thank you
