1 year ago The history needs to guarantee reproducibility, so also purged datasets need to stay.
Filtering might be an option. Currently the deleted filter allows any, yes, and no. If this is not sufficient one might think of a purged filter.

Seeing the purged datasets in history causes unnecessary scrolling.
The intent to purge is the wish to never see this dataset and Galaxy rightly warns clearly of consequences of purging. A typical history contains 100s of items with lots of them hidden. When scrolling the hidden/deleted items with the intent to purge datasets for storage, display of purged datasets is not useful. I get confused/tired scrolling long history items finding datasets to purge.
