Probably at very least the following enhancements should be brought back up stream.

Ping @mvdbeek - in re. https://github.com/bgruening/docker-galaxy-stable/issues/135#issuecomment-172871634. Should be pretty easy to pull some of this stuff out and place it in ansible-galaxy-extras.
