Should we adopt gigatoolshed tools? #244

Hi,

I recently got a request to create a Docker Image with tools from the gigatoolshed and I saw there are lot of tools included that are not at the MTS. I was wondering if you should contact Peter from GigaScience and ask him to migrate these tools into MTS or submit to this repo for reviewing before?

This probably will mean more work to us, but it will make Tools more visible and maybe even better?

The question is whether they have people to maintain the tools. If they do I would support them having their own GH repo here. If they don't and the tools are of sufficient quality I would recommend IUC adopting it.

A small status update here. I ask @pli888 and he we agreed that at first step we should help him to integrate linting and basic testing in his repository.
