I think i have this Problem or a same Problem, but i think i have goood
Workaround for .
Problem Description First :
CM9.1 RC4.1 Phone freezes and reboots sometimes when using Facebook App or xda
app.
On my Phone i comes Randomly some when i play a game a Pop-UP box come and hey
your Facebook is running Critical u wanna close iT ???
Sometimes the Phone Freeze with any input from me. It´s lay on tabel or its
Re-Charging. Some times its do it in my trouser pocket.
So on i am one off the people they want solve their problems on her own after
serveral hours off thingking and trying out a bit with options i found the Zero
Point off my doing point with the .
Like any other People with a smartphone i adding apps and apps and apps.
Now my Internal Space was full. OK i thing just adding link2sd de-install all
apps and install all apps again and put they direktly to your SD with Link2sd @
the install Prozess .
After Serveral Hours i got this Ramdom freezing and Rebooting buggy Phone .
Now my first Workaround was adding more Power to the CPU but only thing it was
doing get a hot Phone but the Problem was not away .
Second Try erase some not so often used apps for getting more Ram Same thing
gonna Happen NOTHING grr..
And the Workaround i thing my gonna be stabiler but i have keep an eye on it
it´s in testing phase !!!
My standart Runnig apps in the Backroud Running Are :
Link2SD , Facebook , Whatsapp , Skype , GMX-MAILBOX APP , Dropbox , and the
Standard System Apps ...
All apps on The SD-Card with their Devalik Cache and their programm cab´s .
Open the Option´s
Than tab on Apps
Than u get a list with all downloaded Apps
Pick the first and tab on it
In the top left corner is an field for closing it if it´s get critical "force
stop"
if the field not tabable the apps is not runnunig or have running demons in the
backround . If its tabable than tab please on it and stop it.
Do this for all DOWNLOADED APPS in the list.
If its done Reboot and than Reboot again . Twice better than one my Grand mum
say ;)
After the Reboots start your apps u wana use again.
Now your system can be stabiler.
My system are stablier than before it have make no restarts and freezes´s
since the last 6 hours before it restart´s one in an hour.
My thinking about the Problem and how it´s can be :
I was thinking about an old USB-Stick at the time off the old USB-Stick i was
still think if i make 3 or more Instance of copy prozesses for copy data on it
gonna faster. Instead of copying all the files with a process I have every
single file solo copy over and then even as many as went at once to the USB
flash drive was no longer accessible. Too much Input for the old USB-Stick.
I think here is the same thing going on . The Apps Facebook , Whatsapp , Skype
, GMX-MAILBOX APP , Dropbox just communicat with USB Storerage at the same and
when it comes the critical point off the SD-card and the System can get fast
enouth from the SD-Card. One App after another gonna critikal and get closed
from the system like a falling down Card HOUSE :P This make than a too much CPU
USAGE cause freezet apps take alot system ram and cpu power before there get
closed and restart.The system now tries to compensate and begins with closing
longer unused system apps, to get more power to the more consuming processes.
And then it comes very clear, the system closes the main process because the
process had no longer responds. Freez and system reboot.
So on i hope my cmmet are helpful for workaround or for fixing it.
