I spent a few hours trying to install pycortex on my Windows machine, with different versions of python, copying cryptic error messages and searching on StackOverflow, etc.
Apologies; we do not support windows installs. None of the developers work on windows, and it is currently outside our capacity to manage this type of cross-platform problem.
This should be clearly marked on the installation documentation in pycortex · PyPI, that appears to be a copy of the README.md file in this repository.
