Timer freezes after computer sleeps/shutoff #11

A great tool i've really enjoyed using. However, I've noticed that sometimes after my computer sleeps and I re-awaken it, the timer will be frozen. Single press/long press does nothing to begin the next cycle and I basically have to completely delete/reinstall the app for it to work again. All my other apps on the Stream Deck will be working after re-awakening.

this is on an M1 Mac - it doesn't seem to happen with any great consistency, maybe once every few days of use.

That's an interesting bug that you've found. All of my testing thus far has been on a Windows 10 machine and that seems to handle resetting the timer back to the start of the state if the computer goes to sleep when the timer is active. I do have a non-M1 Mac that I can try testing it on, I'll update this issue if I'm able to replicate the problem.

Any news on this? It happened to me too, Macbook Pro M1. Congratulations on the plugin! It's very useful and cool.

I'm getting the exact same issue with my windows 11 computer, only after the computer goes to sleep. I have found two methods to remedy this issue

  1. Reboot the computer; or
  2. Kill the both stream deck and elgato audio server processes from task manager.

Whilst these two remedies work, they're an inconvenience. Please find a permanent solution to this issue.
