There are already a few icons in the police and cluedo section that are very useful for detective-themed games. Here's some ideas that might be useful too:

[x] chalk outline (where dead body was found)
[x] classic Sherlock Holmes detective silhouette (with hat and pipe)
[ ] fiber / single hair
[ ] plastic bag for evidence
[x] tire print
[x] feet with toe tag
[x] blood spatter
[x] crime scene barricade tape
[ ] person: victim
[ ] person: suspect
[ ] person: culprit
[ ] person: witness
[ ] person: accessory
[ ] action: accuse
