1 year ago Icons are designed as vector-based file (SVG) so as you say, anyone is free to choose their final resolution. Most of the time the thickness of the stroke (18px for 512px square) is good enough so they can remain clear enough at small scale, but there are a few exceptions.
The idea is great; I'd like to request more small icons, say something abotu 36x36 in pixel size or 64x64 or so. I understand I can scale the existing ones, but I kind of think it may be easier if these are already designed, from the ground up, with that size limitation in mind. Also more fantasy and science fiction icons please. :D
