I'd like to figure out the cave of betrayal bit, but I think that's going to be easier said than done.
The zip tiles forcing a battle is probably going to be next to impossible to resolve, unfortunately. I believe that there is a walking speed comparison when you're on the zip tiles, which I had to make equivalent when I doubled the walking speed.
I think I have an idea about the chapter 2 Shaman Fight slowing the other characters... so this has the best chance of getting fixed.
When you fix that I'll start reporting other times if and when it is noticeable.

Regarding the Cave Of Betrayal issue...
Shoobinator: Oh. Regarding the hope cave, I found out its a trigger not properly being reset after you break a stone. Shoobinator: So its one step rock clears, second step, even if you delay, "resets" it and sticks you in a solid stone block
In the Cave of Betrayal, the stone breaks as expected but there's a graphical glitch where 'shattered stones' keep scrolling through the screen non-stop and incessant on all maps. Also you can literally pass through one tile of the stone without issue, leaving only one of the blocks of the stone shattered. This can make getting the fragment of hope difficult.
Also in the Padequia cave, the ice tiles increment the battle counter when they normally would not, creating a lot of extra battles in a normally very tough cave.
After the game starts force moving the party, sometimes the following party gets glitchy / slow. I'm sure you've seen it many times. The biggest culprit is chapter 2 after the Shaman fight and with the wagon.
In Chapter 1, you can push past the lady that comes to tell you to save her children right at the start, leaving her talking to nothing.
