The Link's Awakening tracker (http://windfish.io/windfish/) has a feature where if you right click to place a dungeon number on the map and then select the instrument associated with that #, the background of the dungeon number changes to black to indicate that the dungeon is complete.
On my original DWR tracker clicking on certain icons triggers animations and/or background changes.
