[DK] Chains of Ice Frost Fever Application Bug Missing #1406

Description: Currently if Cloak of Shadows, Deterrence, Grounding Totem cause Chains of Ice to be evaded, Frost Fever doesn't get applied.

How to reproduce: Cast Chains of Ice onto any target under the aforementioned effects.

How it should work: During OG wotlk, Frost Fever got applied via Chains of Ice through Cloak of Shadows, Deterrence, Grounding Totem etc, regardless of Chains of Ice actually hitting. It was only Chains of Ice, Icy Touch didn't have this sus behavior - but it was well known during OG days.

Basically the application of Frost Fever wasn't tied to Chains of Ice at all, whenever the target wasn't Immune to Disease debuffs it got applied. Divine Shield, Anti Magic Shell were the only known things to prevent it.

Frost Fever will be applied even if target is immune to the snare effect only which means Master's Call Dispersion Hand of Freedom Bladestorm etc... not CoS Deterrence and Grounding can u atleast read the spells?

It is the very same idea, yes Master's Call and HoF too.

As I said: independent of CoI actually hitting or not. If the target isn't immune to frost fever, it will be applied. It's literally written in the sentence dude 😅

If u miss chains of ice on Deterrence/CoS Frost Fever will miss aswell because the spell wont hit at first does not make sense what are u trying to say, Deterence cos Grounding are not snare immunity stop spreading wrong informations here and there...

yes that is intended behavior, and that's why it was bugged and worked in an unintended manner, but nonetheless that's how it worked 🤷

@Riztazz CoI should apply FF through everything as if it was a separate melee hit that can't be dodged blocked or parried, only immunitied, can't miss, can't be resisted. CoS, Spell Reflect even if CHains has been reflected, Hand of Freedom, Dispersion, Deterrence, Grounding if FF has been eaten.

But only Chains of Ice, that's the important part.

In plague strike's case if plague strike registered as a hit, even by 1 dmg and the rest of it was blocked, BP should apply, and it should be unaffected by spell stuff, it's a melee hit that can't miss.
