On Client Start not working professions/retrieving item information #1895

Description: Any time i start my up2date client and try to use my professions they are not fully loaded. It looks like there is information gathered from the server. After around 60seconds the opened profession is loaded, another one is still not. Talking to specific merchants still also shows the "retrieving item information" information for items. This seems to be an issue with the cache folder, which my 3.5 whitemaneclient is not creating or filling with information. Tested this in non- and administrator mode.

How to reproduce: Restart your game, log in, watch a profession. Wait for it to load, check your client which does not have a cache folder.

How it should work: Create a cache so information is stored between 2 sessions.

@shangri26199 Do you have our new client with the newest patch?

whitemane client with patch 3.5. Redownloaded the client even this week to make sure it's the newest

3.5 client patch does not have a cache folder btw which is the primary issue, the cache most players that is still saved on their wow folder atm is from when players had the 3.3 client patch(the second one that was available at the time). i suspect it is also the reason why many players in my guild and including me are experiencing disconnects whenever you /reload during login etc, it would be highly appreciated if the next client update would allow players to again fill the cache with information.
