Anub does frost damage on ascended difficulty instead of frostfire damage. Currently, freezing slash cannot be resisted at all, whereas penetrating cold and the flames on the ground can be resisted with only frost resistance.
How it should work:
According to frosthold buffs, Anub's frost damage from penetrating cold, freezing slash, and the flames on the ground, should be turned into frostfire damage. This picks your lowest resistance, either frost or fire, meaning you need both of them in order to successfully resist damage.
This means that all three of these abilities should be resistible only if you have both frost+fire resistance, but not if you only have one of them.
