Gamesir X2 PRO - Left trigger not working after calibration

The classic issue of many people, and a perfect example of a crumbling firmware. So basically in short: the new firmware that the gamesir app spams you to install messes up the firmware to a state, where if you try to calibrate then the LT stops working completely.

I have already gone through countless forums and posts and everybody basically has the same issue. So i decided if i cannot fix it, i will at least test it in most possible ways and report any findings, so here it is:

• The calibration can mess up the RT too, but after some tinkering it comes back.
• While calibrating, the left thumbstick is completely out of center and almost not responding at all, until you press the LT. After which the stick centers and now magically works and calibrates well, indicating that the LT hall effect chip is not broken on its own.
• In a certain version of the gamesir app, when i tried to map a button to the M1/M2 through the app, its somehow recognized LT after press.
• I started downloading really old versions of the app from github and installed the oldest firmware from them, which resulted into the LT giving inverted output, but working. I only couldnt see if the output was linear analog or digital, because only the gamesir app would see the output, and that old version doesnt show analog value, just on or off.

So, as frustrating as the idea of just needing a firmware update is, it still isnt here and i will have to wait, test and search. I have also contacted gamesir customer support, where i intend to share the same info i have shared here, and see what comes out of it. If anybody has found a solution to this (crazy ton of work or not) please share it with me, as i love the controlled and would love to continue using it in working order.

Found a fix guys!! Worked for me, basically you can enter the callibration mode a couple of ways but always pressing select as one of the two keys + either LT, RT or START for the same 3 to 4 secs until the two lights start flashing. Then the "key" to get both of your triggers working is to calibrate them one at a time and slowly, so you can do LT first slowly 3 times or more and then go with RT. Finally do the same for the joysticks, these you can do at the same time, and then end calibration by pressing and holding LB and RB as usual. I did the calibration while in the gamepad testing option in the GameSir app.
