several issues with ny new G4 pro. #51

I just got this controller three days ago, and I'm already having a couple issues with it regarding connection.

first, at some point my nintendo switch connection got bugged and for some reason it never recognized it anymore. I fixed this by holding the G and S buttons until it enters pairing mode yet again ( HOW IS THIS NOT IN THE MANUAL IS BEYOND ME)

Second, the controller wont charge past 88 or sometimes 87% no matter how long do I charge it, in my experience this makes it last for only a day or a day and a half of battery usage, this is bad since I bought this controller based on reviewers saying this controller could get anywhere from 20-40 hours of battery life. This was the only thing I decided over the T4 pro.

Third, the controller has an issue with the nintendo switch, as soon as it enters 25% as it fluctuates very much between battery percentages, the switch low battery notification will pop up SEVERAL times if you have the notification sounds on this becomes VERY annoying.

Fourth and last, while I just read "serial attack function not compatible with NS" on your webpage, this is not stated on the manual, the box or any reviewers on youtube. (hell, even some reviewers show the turbo function working on their switches) my turbo button is not working with tje switch AT ALL , it works with my android phone, but not on the switch.

I wonder if I got a faulty unit, so I might be returning the controller. I really wanted to love this product as I love your G6 when it worked on my iphone back when I had one, but these problems are way too much to tolerate.

I'm having trouble too, i connected it to my Android phone via Bluetooth, and it worked fine, but i couldn't get it to work with Stadia through chrome on my phone, so i downloaded the gamesir Android app, and updated the firmware.. When it was done, I tried to reconnect to my phone, and it wouldn't.. then I tried connecting as an xbox controller, then it worked, but the buttons were mapped wrong, the right joystick didn't work..smh.. Finally, I restarted my phone, tried Bluetooth again, and it worked... Anyways, be warned if you try updating the firmware.. unrelated to that.. I'm not happy that my stupid stadia Android app.. its all buggy now for some reason, it worked fine before, now it the connection goes red all the time.. And it gives me major input lag.. And it seems like this controller won't work playing through chrome.. Which sucks.. is anyone else having trouble with the stadia app through Android??

Thank you man . I was searching for a solution to pair the fucking joystick with my phone. I almost gave up.but here you wrote press ( G and S ) . After I did that my gamepad worked . Thanks.

By the way my battery has the same problem as yours. It won't get passed 85 present .and my English is bad because I am not a native speaker.

This helped me too.. The Controller didn't want to connect to any PC (dongle), but with these key combination it recognized its dongle and connected.

They already making money, why they need to put this kind of things into manual ... poor (or lack of) management

Holy crap, this is ridiculous this isn't documented. Had the same exact issue when attempting to connect to my PC...

This just solved my issue. Thanks so much for the advice!

I have a similar charging problem, but my controller is not charging AT ALL

When I plug the cable, all 4 red LED lights light up and stays on (don't blink like it says in the manual) and after hours of charging, when I unplug the cable only one red light stays on and starts blinking (like it's low on charge) this is honestly pissing me off because I can't play without the G4 PRO being connected to a power source.

Anyone have a similar problem or knows how to solve this?

And I've also tried several other USB-C cables but it does not seem to have any difference (also tried to plug into my PC, charging ports, nothing works)

I had trouble connecting the controller from the beginning so I thought it was a firmware issue so I updated it. After updating I lost the option to control vibration and the wired controller is not working for me. So far they do not release an update to fix this problem.

Man, my controller can't connect to my pc because it says it failed to describe it? It's honestly ridiculous, I can't connect it with bluetooth either, it just doesn't get recognized, though there is a website that tests controllers that recognizes it and the key mapping too: https://gamepad-tester.com/ I really can't do anything, the app is just not opening at all, I can't even try the controller to see if it works properly (because it is not working at all, I guess
