fixed angular2 app implementation #30

All other code is the same as last commit from Sunday (I closed that one).

I am not too sure what travis-ci is running for us and where it's failing, perhaps we can just take a look together. Or I can look into it more closely in a day or two.

I haven't organized the code into separate components yet. I wanted to get a working commit out by tonight, so I'll create new pull requests later on to restructure, if that's okay.

Let's talk about the tests and how / when to deploy new versions of this app when you're back.
